April Housing Data 2024
New Listings were up 12.4 percent for single family homes and 30.0 percent for
townhouse-condo properties. Pending Sales decreased 13.2 percent for single
family homes but remained flat for townhouse-condo properties.
The Median Sales Price was down 3.5 percent to $300,000 for single family
homes but increased 0.7 percent to $274,000 for townhouse-condo properties.
Days on Market increased 12.4 percent for single family homes and 79.1
percent for townhouse-condo properties.
Warmer temperatures appear to have helped bring some sellers back to the
market, providing additional options to home shoppers during the spring buying
season. Total inventory was up 4.7% month-over-month and 14.4% year-over-
year, for a 3.2 months’ supply at the current sales pace, according to NAR.
Nevertheless, demand continues to outpace supply and properties are selling
quickly, with the typical home spending 33 days on market nationwide, down
from 38 days the month before.
Single Family Pueblo Market

- Sold listing is down 18.4% from April 2023- April 2024
- Median sales price is down 3.5% from April 2023-April 2024
- Avg sales price is up 3.5% from April 2023-April 2024( This one is weird seems people haven’t caught on to the changes in the market)
- Days on market is up 12% from April 2023-April 2024
- Active listings is up 10.5% from April 2023- April 2024
So to sum it all up. More houses are coming for sale, pending sales is down, sold listings is down, median sales price is down, avg sales price is up (weird), days on market is up, and active listings is up.
